  5. If you have a command line in the Autoexec.bat to delete Win95
  6. temporary files in the C:\Windows\Temp upon startup then the VB6run 
  7. update will not take affect if it prompts you to restart computer because
  8. the computer DLLs are outdated.
  9. Remove the line from the Autoexec.bat when you are installing programs
  10. that requires a reboot.
  11.  
  12. INSTALLATION
  13. ============
  14. There are two Installation to be made to install MiniApps
  15. 1) The VB6run: run Setup.exe and click the Install VB6run first.
  16. This will install Visual Basic run files and MiniApps required
  17. DLLs and OCXs.
  18. 2) MiniApps: Run Setup.exe again and install MiniApps.
  19.  
  20. If you downloaded the MiniApps update then be sure you have installed
  21. MiniApps vb6run already.
  22.  
  23. REINSTALL
  24. =========
  25. Unzip miniappsu.zip to a temporary directory and install it 
  26. by running Setup.exe.
  27. Select the "Reinstall" button if you are reinstalling to a previous 
  28. installation.
  29. Take care  to see that the correct path to the previous installation is
  30. shown in the path window.

  32. When reinstalling, don't delete the previous {older} MiniApps directory.
  33. Merely selecting the "Reinstall" command, it will 
  34. update and replace all files and recreate any missing folders.

  36. UNINSTALL:
  37. =========
  38. To remove {uninstall} MiniApps, run the "Uninstall Unwanted
  39. Programs" found in the MiniApps shortcut in the Start Menu
  40. and click the Remove All button.
  41.  
  42. UNINSTALLING the VB6run version:
  43. ===============================
  44. NOT RECOMMENDED
  45. To Un-install, go to the Control Panel\Add Remove Programs, scroll 
  46. down to the VB6run and click uninstall.
  47. If you uninstall the VB6run, then you can't run programs programmed
  48. with Visual basic, suggest strongly to keep it installed.
